Isabel Estate currently produces five wines: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Riesling, and in exceptional vintages, a botrytised Late Harvest Sauvignon Blanc.
Isabel Estate's modern winery is situated in the middle of the vineyard. It combines the very best of high technology and low technology equipment to maximise vineyard flavours. French Oak barriques are utilised for wine maturation rather than for oak flavour. Isabel does not believe in interfering with the intense varietal characters for which the vineyard is renowned.
The Isabel philosophy is simple, and that is "to respect the soil where the grapes grow and allow the unique characters of each vineyard and variety to be expressed in the final wine".
Meticulous quality control in the vineyard and rigorous fruit selection is seen as vital to the overall quality of the final wine. Winemaking focuses on the fruit flavours and subtle complexity to enhance qualities produced in the individual parcels of land.
Only those wines of outstanding quality and character carry the Isabel Estate label. As a result, the wines are justifiably positioned as premium estate wines, sought after the world over.
